We have the perfect large or small water lily for every pond. A water lily is hugely important in the pond. The water lily leaf blocks the sun, making the water less likely to heat up, reducing algae growth. The water lily leaf also provides a natural hiding place for fish and other underwater life. Oxygenating plants do the same, but on top of this they absorb waste products from the water which they convert into oxygen. As a result, Sufficient Oxygenating Underwater Plants in the pond ensure that you do NOT need a pump and filter. Our range of pond plants consists exclusively of hardy species and you always have a 100% growth and flowering guarantee. Our pond package, consisting of a water lily, moss balls, and hornwort, provides an effective solution against algae formation. The leaves of the water lily block sunlight, keeping the water cooler and reducing algae growth. At the same time, these leaves provide natural shelter for fish and other aquatic life. The oxygen plants in the package, such as hornwort, increase oxygen levels in the water through photosynthesis, which is crucial for supporting aquatic life and helps further prevent algae blooms. This interplay of elements creates a healthy and balanced pond environment. Our plants are shipped as plugs, these are young plants consisting mainly of primal roots and the occasional single leaf. This is because the roots are the most important thing about the whole plant. Roots determine strength and growth. When placed in the pond, these plugs will grow into stronger and healthier plants during the growing and flowering season within a few weeks.
