Tip from SimonElodea the fastest way to clear water; it grows quickly and consumes the nutrients underwater that algae feed on. Let the bunches sink freely into the water to a depth of about -20 cm; you don’t need a basket or substrate. Don’t place it too shallow, because it will start to produce slime in warm water, and don’t place it too deep, because it will grow more slowly.
About this product
Elodea, also known as Elodea densa, is essential for a thriving pond. This hardy aquatic plant enriches the water with oxygen, eliminating the need for a pump or filter. By absorbing waste products and limiting water temperature increases, Elodea naturally inhibits Elodea . It also provides a safe underwater hiding place for fish and other pond life.
What makes this product special
Our Elodea from our own nursery. No gimmicks—just organically grown and ready to take root. Elodea hardy and comes back every year. We tie them together with a small weight, which you can simply leave in place. It ensures that the plant sinks to the bottom and anchors itself more quickly in the substrate. You should remove the white foam, though; it doesn’t belong in your pond. The terracotta pots are for inspiration.
Quality and origin
Elodea vigorously without requiring much attention. Pruning is simple: just cut off a section when it gets too dense. The plant spreads naturally throughout the pond, develops roots, and does what it’s supposed to do; and because it’s hardy, you don’t have to replant it every year.
Practical Information
For a balanced pond, we recommend planting at least 10 to 12 individual oxygenating plants per 1,000 liters of water, and 2 baskets of oxygenating plants (containing 4 plants each) per 1,000 liters of water for the shallow areas. The water is finally clear

No matter what I tried, the water in my pond just wouldn't clear up. After exchanging a few emails, I decided to order this complete kit, though to be honest, I wasn't very confident it would work.
