Since 1986 I have been engaged in growing aquatic plants and developing ponds in a nature-friendly and environmentally conscious manner.
I, Simon, besides finding it important to fulfill the dream that people have to create a unique water feature in the garden, perhaps even more important to restore biodiversity in the world and to inspire people about it.

My son Chris van der Velde has joined the company since 2012 and co-owner since 2020, we share the goal of restoring biodiversity in the world by contributing with this book, our vision and our aquatic plants to make pieces of nature throughout Europe and preferably all over the world.
