Make sure the terrarium is in a place where it catches enough sunlight but does not overheat. So don't put it in a place where it gets direct sunlight all day, they also don't put the ecosystem in an overly warm place such as on the windowsill with heater underneath.
It is usually not necessary to repot the bonsai in an ecosystem, as it is already balanced by the humid habitat the little tree creates for itself.
With proper care and conditions, a bonsai can thrive within an ecosystem for many years.
There is usually no need to tolerate insects or animals, as the ecosystem is often kept in balance without their presence.
Prune the bonsai carefully and only as needed. Ensure that the balance of the ecosystem is maintained by placing the cork back on immediately after pruning.
