About this product
Ferns are the perfect choice for the shady spots around your pond where other plants struggle to thrive. They create a lush, green display among the rocks, along the pond’s edge, or beneath overhanging shrubs. With their feathery fronds, they instantly add texture and depth to the pond’s edge and effortlessly fill in those hard-to-reach, shady corners.
What makes this product special
The package contains 3 different types of outdoor ferns in P9 pots, supplied at a height of approximately 25 cm and reaching a mature height of up to 80 cm. The mix includes various species with a range of leaf shapes and colors, from fresh green to warm bronze. All varieties are fully hardy and return on their own every spring. Ferns increase the humidity around the pond and thrive best in a moist, shady location.

• Are these ferns suitable for planting next to a pond? Yes, ferns are ideal for the moist, shaded area around a pond. They grow best in a spot that isn't exposed to the full midday sun and where the soil remains slightly moist.
• How much water do ferns need? Ferns need more water than most other garden plants. Keep the soil slightly moist, especially during dry periods. The humidity is naturally higher right next to a pond, which benefits the ferns.
• Are the ferns hardy? Yes, all the ferns in this package are fully hardy in the Netherlands and Belgium. They come back on their own every spring.
