It roots strongly and helps stabilize the bank, but it tends to spread, so keep it in a basket. Plant these cuttings directly into porous substrate—no basket needed—about -1 cm from the edge or the planting bed. There, they’ll root quickly and provide optimal filtration for clear, healthy water.
About this product
These pond plants come in convenient plug form, so you can plant them effortlessly right along the edge of the pond, without the hassle of pots or baskets. Thanks to their strong roots, they absorb waste products such as nitrite and nitrate from the water, keeping the water clear and bringing your pond into balance. Since fewer nutrients remain in the water, algae have much less opportunity to grow. The Japanese Equisetum also Equisetum immediate structure: a strong, upright plant that brings calm and rhythm to the bank with its straight, dark green stems.

The water is finally clear

No matter what I tried, the water in my pond just wouldn't clear up. After exchanging a few emails, I decided to order this complete kit, though to be honest, I wasn't very confident it would work.
