Most algae problems start at the edges of your pond. With the Aquatic plants this kit, you can cover those vulnerable areas and keep algae at bay.
About this product
Give your Pond tub sturdy, green edging that helps prevent algae growth and largely covers the visible edge. This package prevents water from warming up in shallow areas, where algae often first appear. The combination of tall marsh plants and low-growing oxygenating plants filters waste from the water and increases oxygen levels. This removes nutrients from the water that algae need to grow, causing the algae to die off while the plants absorb these nutrients themselves. The result: a clear pond that maintains its own balance year-round. Plant the plugs along the pond edge in a 1:1 mixture of substrate and clay.
What makes this product special
The plants in this package have been specially selected for pond tubs, where algae often form along the black, shallow edges. The tall marsh plants provide shade and shelter, while the low-growing oxygenating plants cover the edge of the tub. This helps control algae growth and prevent it in the future. At the same time, the plants purify the water and increase the oxygen content. The flowering varieties also create a beautiful, green border around your Pond tub.

The water is finally clear

No matter what I tried, the water in my pond just wouldn't clear up. After exchanging a few emails, I decided to order this complete kit, though to be honest, I wasn't very confident it would work.
