GreenGifts is a sister company of Van der Velde Waterplants. Brothers Chris, Roy and Frank van der Velde have transformed their father's traditional water plant nursery into a thriving green gift store with a market across Europe. Their mission is to restore the connection between people and nature through unique worlds such as Ecoworld, Bonsaiworld and Swampworld, where people learn more about plants and their origins through play. Together with their team, they continue to focus on developing new products to help as many people as possible enjoy nature.

With our Ecoworld, we want to make people aware of how important plants are for our environment and what plants can offer us. With plants we can reconnect with nature and have fun with green in an educational way in a playful way. Our Ecoworld plants give energy, clean air (Co2 is converted into oxygen) and a positive mind set. A green medicine. Not to mention our plants are also decorative and brighten up many spaces.

Discover our planet
Children are the future and with Amazingworld they can learn about nature in a playful and educational way. In 2015 we started developing a number of concepts with carnivorous plants, cacti, aquarium plants and growing fruit and vegetable plants ourselves especially for children. These concepts have all received their own brand: Swampworld, Waterworld, Desertworld and Veggieworld. Also here there is an interactive website created especially for kids with a plant quiz
