The Iris yellow, also known as Iris pseudacorus, is a hardy and fast-growing marsh plant that actively purifies pond water. Thanks to a symbiotic relationship with beneficial bacteria on its roots, the plant efficiently absorbs nitrate from the water, thereby reducing algae growth. At the same time, the large sword-shaped leaves and yellow flowers add volume and color along the pond’s edge. A proven plant for clear water and a healthy pond. This native riparian plant is one of the most commonly used irises in water filters and plant filters, and for good reason. The Iris yellow vigorously, roots deeply, and spreads easily. Without a pond basket, it can spread quite extensively, but it remains easy to control with occasional pruning or division. It blooms in the spring and summer, producing sturdy, striking flowers that are instantly recognizable. Our Iris yellow grown in our own nursery, without any artificial additives, and is fully hardy. The plant returns every year and can last for decades. For a balanced pond, we recommend 2 baskets, each containing 4 marsh plants per 1,000 liters of water, for a total of 8 marsh plants. The water is finally clear

No matter what I tried, the water in my pond just wouldn't clear up. After exchanging a few emails, I decided to order this complete kit, though to be honest, I wasn't very confident it would work.
The delivery was in good condition and the plants looked healthy. Not much changed during the first few weeks, but after about a month, the water slowly began to clear up.
