Frequently asked questions about dwarf water lilies
The flowering period of a mini water lily can vary depending on several factors, including the species, care and conditions in your pond. In general, mini water lilies can bloom throughout the summer months and sometimes even into early fall. This means you can enjoy their beautiful flowers for a significant portion of the warm season.
To care for a small water lily, place it in direct sunlight for 4-6 hours a day, at a depth of 30-60 cm below the water surface. Use pond plant fertilizer according to instructions, pay attention to water quality, and prune dead leaves regularly. In cold climates, prepare them for winter by storing them underwater in a frost-free spot
Mini water lilies (Nymphaea tetragona) are native to North America and are native to the marshes and ponds of this area. They thrive in temperate climates and are loved for their small size and attractive flowers.
