Hippuris, also known as Hippuris vulgaris, is a robust oxygenating plant that enriches the water with oxygen and contributes to the biological balance. It helps prevent algae growth and keeps the pond water clear and healthy. This plant is instantly recognizable by its straight stems with whorls of leaves that grow in layers one above the other. Hippuris compactly and neatly, without taking over the pond. It stands firmly among other plants and adds structure to your pond.
What makes this product special
You Hippuris instantly Hippuris by its straight, upright stems that rise above the water. Not only do they give your pond a natural look, but they also add height and texture to your planting scheme. Underwater, the plant purifies the water and provides shelter for young fish.
Quality and origin
Our Hippuris come directly from our own nursery, are organically grown, and are perfectly suited to the Dutch climate. They are hardy, grow with the seasons, and reappear every year without any extra care. For a balanced pond, we recommend at least 1 basket with 4 plants per square meter, up to a maximum of 4 baskets for faster results. In deeper areas, you can supplement this with individual oxygenating plants. This creates a sustainable foundation for clear and healthy water.

No matter what I tried, the water in my pond just wouldn't clear up. After exchanging a few emails, I decided to order this complete kit, though to be honest, I wasn't very confident it would work.
