Warranty and quality

This page provides information about plant warranties, length of warranty, proof of warranty and how to deal with plants that do not grow or bloom.

Frequently Asked Questions

Some species may have brown leaves. This does not mean that the plant is not good, but it is a protection for the growth core. So we deliberately leave these brown leaves on. When dormant, most plants also have brown leaves to protect the growth core.

Our aquatic plants are grown with the utmost care. Special attention is paid to the development and growth from root to plant. Quality control also takes place when packing your order. This way you can be sure that the plants you purchase from us are core healthy.

Did you receive plants and you are not sure about the quality? Please let us know within 48h after delivery, using this form. Enclose a photo so that we can look at the plants with you and advise you. If it turns out that the plants really are not of good quality, we will of course offer a warranty on your purchase. The warranty is valid for one year from the date of purchase.

Other articles
All other (non-living) items you buy from us are covered by the legal warranty. Legal warranty means that a product is or should do what the consumer can reasonably expect it to do. A manufacturer's warranty also applies to some products.

If you are found to be entitled to the grow and bloom warranty, it is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.

Your invoice or proof of purchase is also your warranty certificate. You can keep your invoice in your account. That way you will never lose it again. Handy, right?

When leaving the nursery, a quality control always takes place. We give 100% growth and flowering guarantee on our aquatic plants.
The conditions for this:

  • Place at the recommended depth (listed on the package)
  • Aquatic plants only sprout from the month of April, when the temperature is a little higher. From then on, the plant takes about a month to sprout.
  • Do not place the plant too close to a fountain, filter or pump
  • Do not place the plant in a pond in which koi carp, or other carp-like fish are present.

Give the plant several weeks to acclimate and sprout. To encourage faster growth, please consider the following points:

- Place the top edge of the pond basket at a maximum depth of -10 cm in the water for several weeks. This will give the plant more warmth and more light, so growth will accelerate. Raising the basket is easily accomplished by placing, for example, paving stones or something else under the basket.

- Move the pond basket to a more sunny spot in the pond or temporarily in a water tank.

If you are then convinced that the plant will not grow, we would like to receive an email with photos of the plant and its location in the pond.

Without photos, unfortunately, we cannot process your request.

Upon receipt of all information, we will provide a suitable solution.
