How it began.
In 2012, Chris joined the family business of Van der Velde Aquatic Plants. In addition to the breeder's blood, he has especially adopted his father's commercial spirit and drive for innovation.

2013
The idea for Waterworld was born. Water plants in different shapes glass and aquariums with plastic fish.
2014
Initial plans are in place to do something with carnivorous plants under the name Swampworld.
2015
Development of Amazingworld concept, with side branches such as Swampworld, Desertworld, Waterworld, Veggieworld and Fruityworld.
2016
Chris starts for himself under the name AmazingworldGifts. An online web store where Amazingworld products are available.
2017
In 2017, Amazingworld won an important award in the flower and plant world, namely The Dutch Tulip Award.
2018
Out of the idea of sustainability, Ecoworld is launched. A product line where packaging is produced co2 neutrally.
2019
The Bonsaiworld brand is created. A line of Japanese living art with Bonsai trees in different variations.
2020
AmazingworldGifts no longer covers all the brands and future plans. The site will be upgraded and we will continue under the name GreenGifts.
Under the name Amazingworld, Van der Velde Waterplanten has developed a green concept. To introduce children from 3 to 12 years old to plants in a fun, educational and simple way. For companies, Van der Velde Waterplanten has developed a sustainable green solution: Ecoworld. The Amazingworld and Ecoworld products are available through GreenGifts.nl
