Vision and mission
Van der Velde has a clear vision and a clear mission. In our current computerized and 'petrified' society, there is a great urge to 'get back to nature'. The quickest and easiest way to achieve this is to design our own living and working environment to be natural, green and blue, with clear flowing water kept healthy by balanced water and pond vegetation.

Simon specializes in growing hardy aquatic plants and only the right species needed for a successful pond. Simon also says that the use of expensive pumps, filters, water improvers and water testers are unnecessary. With the right pond plant combination, biologically balanced and clear pond water can be achieved naturally just as in nature.
Chris van der Velde
Chris joins the family business in 2012. Besides the grower's blood, he also inherited his father's commercial spirit and drive for innovation. Using current communication technologies, his mission is to help as many people as possible connect with nature.
